To help you plan your stay at Eaton Manor we have put together some frequently asked questions.  Of course, if there is something we haven’t mentioned then please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Is there mobile phone signal?

Orange (EE) and Vodafone work in this area.  There is also a landline in each property.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in all properties and meeting rooms as standard.

The usual speed for our Wi-Fi is over 10MB for uploads and downloads, however, please contact us for an accurate speed check should you wish.

Are towels provided?

Yes, there is a hand towel and bath sheet per person.

If you are staying between April & October, please bring your own towels for use at the pool.

What are the arrival and departure times?

We will work with you to arrange arrival and departure times.

For the properties our standard arrival time is from 4pm and departure time is by 10am.

Where is the nearest shop?

Church Stretton is the nearest town (4 miles away) and has a Co-op, petrol station, deli and takeaway food options.

Do I need a car?

Eaton Manor is in a very rural location, without any public transport nearby, and therefore we would recommend a car.

Is there parking?

All of the properties have ample, safe, private parking and there is also a large car park adjacent to the meeting facilities.

What sort of cookers are in the houses?

All of the properties have well equipped kitchens for self-catering, including electric cookers with solid plates, microwaves, fridges and freezers.

Are the gardens enclosed?

All of the gardens are large, private and enclosed, with outdoor furniture available all year round.

Do you have a booking system for the shared pool?

Yes, once at Eaton Manor you can book hourly slots at the pool each day for your group’s exclusive use.

Can we use fireworks?

We can only allow fireworks to be used in the week surrounding Bonfire night, at Diwali and Chinese New Year, when they must be finished by 10pm, and on New Year’s Eve, when they must be finished by 12.30am.

No indoor fireworks are allowed at any time.

Are we allowed to play music?

Out of courtesy to guests staying in the surrounding properties and the permanent residents of Eaton we cannot allow music outside in the gardens and we request that if you are having music inside the property that the doors and windows are kept closed and the music is turned down by 10pm.

Are all the properties suitable for guests with reduced mobility?

We try to cater for everyone but each property is individual and they aren’t all suitable for reduced mobility.

What is in the Reduced Mobility pack?

To help make your stay more comfortable we can provide a wooden chair with arms; a toilet seat riser with frame, a shower stool, portable ramp, elephants feet and a wheelchair.

Please contact us in advance of your stay to discuss your requirements and to book any of this equipment.

What if we require any special mobility equipment during our stay?

Please contact us in advance of your stay to discuss your requirements and we can help you arrange the equipment.

Will we have exclusive use of the site?

If you book all of the properties on the estate then you will have exclusive use of the whole site and its facilities.

However, if you would like exclusive use of the site but do not require all of the accommodation, please contact us to discuss your requirements and we can put a tailored quote together for you.

Can you provide meeting equipment?

Yes, we can provide flipcharts, paper and pens, a projector screen, please click here for more information.

Please request items in advance to guarantee availability.

Will you accept delivery of parcels in advance of our arrival?

Yes, provided we are made aware of the delivery, we can provide safe storage for your items.
